My first solo show “Carry on Mummy” is all about the daily life of an Indian housewife and mother with puns “intended” against the hypocrisy of our patriarchy 😊. 

I dedicate it to the largest unpaid labour force of the world, The Home Makers. Ladies, we are in this together and I believe in the power of “us”. If we can keep our families healthy, alive, screaming, active, sane and together while keeping our own sanity intact, trust me, there’s nothing in the world we can’t achieve! And it’s the everyday light hearted moments amongst the chaos that keep us going. In the end, it’s how we just laugh it all out no matter what life throws at us, put on our lipstick and get ready for the next day!

Harpriya Bains is a Delhi Based comic. Married for 20 years and mother of 2, no one listens to her at home and so decided to find strangers who might lend her an ear. She also feels this is probably her mid life crisis moment.
