## Where Hansali Sahib is

Hansali is a village in Fatehgarh Sahib district, about 11.5 km from Fatehgarh Sahib
and 4 km from Khera, which is why the run is also known as the Hansali Khera Run.
[Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hansali) puts it about 37 km from Chandigarh,
with Sirhind, Bassi Pathana and Rajpura nearby.

The village is known for its dera. Baba Ajit Singh Hansaliwale (c. 1936–2015) headed
the Nirmal Dera trust there, which runs charitable projects including a free hospital,
a school and a girls’ college. Google Maps lists two gurdwaras in the village, Gurdwara
Sahib Hansali and the gurdwara of Sant Baba Ajit Singh Hansali Wale, so check the
organisers’ posts for the exact start point before you set off.

## Races and registration

The organisers describe Hansali Run 2026 as a chip-timed event with four distances:
the 42 km full marathon, a 21 km half marathon, a 10K and a 5K. They have not put
the fees in writing yet. Their posts advertise early-bird rates, and registration
is through the QR code printed on the official poster on their Instagram account,
[@hansali_run](https://www.instagram.com/hansali_run/). For questions, the helpline
on the poster is 96585 00056.

The start time and reporting time are not published yet. Because 25 November is
a Wednesday, plan your leave in advance.

## What the run supports

According to the organisers’ profile, the 2026 edition is held in association with
the Nargis Dutt Foundation and a breast cancer awareness campaign. The official
poster was unveiled at Hansali Sahib in September by Sant Baba Paramjit Singh Ji,
with the blessings of Brahmgiani Sant Baba Ajit Singh Ji Hansali Wale, as the organisers
put it.

This is not a new race: the organisers’ Instagram has a pinned post from the 2024
edition.
