First, the club
FUFU Turtles started as a group of people who liked running slowly, laughing a lot and ending every run at a coffee counter — and grew into what the club itself calls Chandigarh’s largest run club. The formula is deliberately un-serious: community over competition, all paces welcome, meditation and socialising folded into the runs. If the name makes you smile, that is the point.
Then, the fest
FUFU Fest scales that vibe up into a full day. The organisers bill it as India’s most iconic 5K run and wellness festival: a 5K “Run & Rave” that rolls straight into a Wellness Village — recovery lounges, cold plunges, mobility games, coffee and matcha bars, a wellness market, and a coffee rave as the finale. Bibs and T-shirts are collected at a bib expo the day before.

The 2025 edition, for scale
On 7 September 2025, the fest ran as a fitness and wellness marathon from the Capitol Complex, near the Open Hand Monument — big enough that Chandigarh Traffic Police issued a formal advisory for the 5:00–11:00 AM window. Nexus Elante also hosted a FUFU Fest celebration that season, per press coverage. Not bad for a club named after moving slowly.
