5th CHANDIGARH MUSIC AND FILM FESTIVAL to be held on 27th, 28th & 29th April, 2025

As summer warms up the City Beautiful, the cultural calendar is set to sizzle with the much-awaited 5th Chandigarh Music and Film Festival (CMFF) — scheduled for 27th, 28th, and 29th April 2025. Organized in association with PFTAA, MY FM, Chandigarh Life, Citco, Punjabi Hits, The Narrators, and the Delhi Institute of Digital Management, this year’s edition promises an electrifying fusion of cinema, music, creativity, and cultural conversation.

Speaking about the vision of the festival, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Founder of Chandigarh Music and Film Festival, stated,

“Chandigarh Music and Film Festival has been actively working for the last three years to promote good cinemas and music together towards the people of Chandigarh. The festival is very popular among the budding young filmmakers, actors, and singers not only from Chandigarh but also the whole state of Punjab and Haryana..”

The 5th Chandigarh Music and Film Festival will kick off on April 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Municipal Bhawan, Sector 35A, Chandigarh. The three-day celebration will showcase a curated selection of local and international films across genres — ranging from thought-provoking documentaries to inspiring narratives. The goal is to captivate cinephiles and music lovers with visual brilliance, storytelling, and soulful soundscapes.

Opening Ceremony & Felicitation

The Opening Ceremony will mark the beginning of CMFF’s creative journey, followed by a Felicitation Event to honour notable contributors to the worlds of music and film. Recognitions will also be presented to emerging directors, producers, influencers, and artists from India and abroad, fostering a spirit of celebration and inclusion.

On 28th and 29th April, the festival will continue at Chandigarh University, offering students a unique opportunity to engage through:
