CATS 43 Blood Donation Camp (in assn with CAN & WILL Foundation)
CAN & WILL, in association with their adventure arm CATS, is holding our 43rd blood donation camp with the theme ‘THAND RAKH’ at Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Sector 37, Chandigarh.
CATS have decided to beat the heat with some super cool fun games, quizzes, a photo gallery and some yummy food.
This time also, the camp has been planned with our COVID specific set of rules which respect social distancing and sanitisation for the personal safety of all the donors:
1. All donors enter from the main entrance double doors, as usual, as per their pre-booked slot on the timetable provided.
2. All donors to come wearing their face masks.
3. All donors to sanitise their hands at the entrance.
4. Only 3 donors can bleed at a time (instead of 6).
5. All chairs would be sanitised after each donor has vacated the chair.
6. All blood bank staff in contact with the donors would be taking utmost care while in touch with the donor.
7. Refreshment served with care.
8. Photobooth and all voting-related activities with minimum contact.
9. Only 48 donors per day (6 donors per hour).
10. Only 2-3 Volunteers from CATS would be present on both days to ensure the comfort of the donors personally while maintaining the social distancing norms.

Blood Bank staff has received both doses of the COVID vaccination. It has also made every arrangement to ensure your safety.
Donating blood would not cost you anything, and it does not really hurt any more than a standard blood test would; however, a little of your time and effort would help save precious lives. Please bring along your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours, morning walk partners, golfing pals, and fishing mates to donate blood for this noble cause.
During our previous 42 quarterly blood donation camps, we collectively donated 4,500+ units and let us keep helping as many souls as possible this year too.
Is it too much to ask for 70 of YOU to paw forward for a noble cause?

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1) As the camp is on Tuesday, all the donor CATS are requested to abstain from consuming all forms of liquor from Sunday night onwards 
2) If your schedule does not permit you to be with us on the day of the camp due to work or vacations, it is suggested that our donor, CATS donate blood prior to the camp by making a clear mention of CATS at the time of filling the form. Take a selfie and email it to us. We shall share it with pride
