Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Chandigarh Life, operated by Sogrow Ventures Private Limited, we provide a platform for event organizers to list and sell tickets. All cancellations and refunds are managed by the respective event organizers, and Chandigarh Life does not process refunds directly. This policy outlines general guidelines for cancellations and refunds.


1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Event Cancellation by Organizer

  • If an event is canceled, the respective event organizer is responsible for notifying ticket holders via email or SMS.
  • Refunds for canceled events will be processed as per the event organizer’s policy.

1.2 User-Initiated Cancellations

  • Tickets once purchased are non-cancellable unless specified otherwise by the event organizer.
  • For events that allow cancellations, the terms will be detailed during the ticket purchase process.

1.3 Postponed or Rescheduled Events

  • Tickets for rescheduled events remain valid for the new date and time.
  • Refunds for rescheduled events, if applicable, are subject to the organizer’s policy.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:

  • Event cancellations by the organizer.
  • Valid cancellation requests for eligible events.

2.2 Refund Timeline

  • Refund Processing Time: Refunds, if applicable, will be initiated within 2–3 working days after receiving the request from the event organizer.
  • Bank Account Credit: It may take an additional 5–7 working days for the refunded amount to reflect in the customer’s bank account, depending on the payment provider or bank.

2.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • No-show or failure to attend the event.
  • Tickets purchased under “non-refundable” terms.
  • Errors in booking details provided by the user.

3. How to Request a Refund

  • Contact the event organizer directly using the details provided in the event confirmation email.
  • Provide your Booking ID, Event Name, and reason for the refund request.
  • The event organizer will verify your request and initiate the refund process as per their policy.

4. Additional Fees

  • Any transaction fees or payment gateway charges incurred during the ticket purchase are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

5. Force Majeure

Chandigarh Life is not responsible for cancellations or refunds arising from circumstances beyond the control of the event organizer, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or technical failures.
