The Mandal held its 2026 Ganeshotsav at Maharashtra Bhawan, Sector 19-D, from 14 to 20 September. Its account of the 2024 festival lists sthapana, daily aarti, cultural evenings, mahaprasad and visarjan, all within its own dates (7 to 15 September that year). How the puja goes
- The idol is installed at home or at a community pandal on Chaturthi, ideally within the Madhyahna (midday) muhurat.
- Aarti is performed morning and evening through Ganeshotsav, with modak, durva grass and red flowers offered.
- On Anant Chaturdashi a final aarti is performed before the idol is taken in procession for visarjan.
- If you are buying an idol, ask the seller what it is made of and how it is meant to be immersed.
