3. Terrace garden

I’m always looking forward to the greenery of the city. In the face of pollution, spending some time in a green and colour company while you fill your lungs with fresh oxygen may be a rejuvenating experience. Chandigarh’s terrace garden is a spectacular place with greenery and colourful flowers. If you are at the Chrysanthemum Festival, don’t miss it.

Activities: sightseeing, photography, picnics.

Location: Sector 33

4. Musical Fountain

The Musical Fountain is one of the most famous places in Chandigarh. It’s a bit crowded, so it’s mainly a place for mass lovers. Water, music, and lasers will be a decent show. Don’t expect anything comparable to spectacular and international quality, but this is a good place to spend the night.

Activities: Tourism, photography, light and laser shows.

Location: Sector 17

5. Pinjor Garden

These are the ruins of the Mughal Empire in the Panchkula district. It covers a vast area of 100 hectares and is a great place to relax in nature. Well-kept greenery, fascinating water and refreshing fountains attract tourists from all over the world. It is a planned terrace garden and hosts the annual Mango Festival.

In addition to being a garden, the site also has a mini zoo, a quiet Japanese garden and an area dedicated to historic sites. That’s why this place offers a variety of activities for everyone, from children to adults. After sunset, the entire garden is illuminated and the atmosphere of the place is emphasized.
