Dbels Partners with RoundGlass Sports to Integrate World-Class Sports Development into School Education
Collaboration brings structured coaching, physical literacy, and competitive pathways to tricity students
Dass and Brown Experiential Learning School (Dbels), the tricity’s first Experiential Learning and Entrepreneurship K-12 school with a focus on AI and STREAM, has announced a strategic collaboration with RoundGlass Sports, the global wellbeing and sports development organisation behind Punjab FC and one of India’s most ambitious grassroots sports programmes.
The partnership will integrate RoundGlass’s proven sports development methodology into the Dbels curriculum, giving students access to structured coaching, physical literacy programmes, and a pathway to competitive athletics that was previously available only at elite academies. RoundGlass Sports operates 26 grassroots football centres across Punjab and has produced 11 Indian internationals across senior and youth levels. Their academy holds elite category accreditation from the All India Football Federation and won the 2024 Reliance Foundation Development League title.

The organisation’s holistic wellbeing philosophy, which blends physical training with mental resilience, nutrition, and character development, aligns with the experiential learning approach that defines Dbels. The school has consistently maintained that education must develop the whole child, addressing cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth in a single integrated framework rather than treating academics and sport as separate pursuits.
Principal Anju Mehta said: “At Dbels, we believe education must develop the whole child, encompassing mind, body, and character. RoundGlass has demonstrated that sports, when approached with rigour and intention, becomes a powerful vehicle for building discipline, teamwork, and resilience. This partnership brings that philosophy directly into our classrooms and playing fields.”
With this collaboration, Dbels students will have direct access to a sports ecosystem that has produced players for the Indian Super League (IPL). Students will benefit from certified coaching, age-appropriate training protocols, and exposure to competitive pathways, transforming sports from an extracurricular activity into a genuine avenue for excellence.

The partnership reinforces the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, confident learners. Dbels combines Finnish Early Years methodology with the Cambridge International curriculum and dedicated entrepreneurship education from Grade 1 onwards. The school’s emphasis on experiential learning, future-ready skills, and individual attention has made it a distinctive choice for families seeking an alternative to conventional schooling in the Chandigarh tricity.
Dbels operates under the aegis of the DCM Group of Schools, founded in 1946, and is located in Sector 6, MDC, Panchkula. Families interested in learning more about the school’s academic and co-curricular programmes may visit the Dbels website.
